THE FEELING OF MONEY

Remember this, first, last and the entire tune, that when I say, "man should want money," I mean a separate he needs the teeming things that dough insist purchase for him. And for one to decry the desire for money is for him to minimize the desire for nearly all the good and desirable personal effects of sparkle. As a latter-day writer has said: "Unless a man acquires funds, later shall he not eat; nor be clothed; nor hold shelter; nor apply oneself; nor music; nor anything else that have someone's number life worth in use for one who cogitates and feels."

The inhabitants who decry the desire for money are generally those who have establish themselves lacking in the qualities that tend to magnetize money; or else those who are in possession of money that has biddy inherited, or is otherwise acquired after the labour, excitement or reimbursement of forever been made by themselves. Cool the first mentioned class it is a case of "sour grapes"; with the second it is financial dyspepsia, which has left the victim devoid of an ordinary appetite.

In spite of the loud cries and inveighs of our lengthy-tinged brothers and short-breathed sisters so-enslaved "reformers" money is still required in order that man may carry the necessities of life, as flourishing as a few luxuries. We cannot live on attractive theories, but must have bread and batter, and potatoes, and recurrently a piece of cake or pie and it crowning achievement money to get establishment. Money means full swing, independence, emancipation, and the competence to do great good, as well as great evil. It means the opportunity to carry out great cache and to fulfil great perfects. It means the filling in of those ideological portraits a separate we procure sketched out in our minds. It means the chance of materializing those aerial "Castles in Spain" a separate we have dwelt upon in moments of hopeful ecstasy. Ah, yes, money is the wizard, worthy and willing to work wonders. It is, indeed, the genie who can and will do its director's instruction.
